I’m a Brazilian-born, Toronto-based design leader with more than 15 years of experience shaping visual culture across global brands. Since 2022, I’ve been Head of Art at Publicis Canada, where I lead multidisciplinary teams building design systems and campaigns for clients including VISA, Heineken, Jeep, National Geographic, Uber, and WhatsApp.
My creative journey began in Arapiraca, a small city in Brazil’s Northeast—often compared to Texas, only hotter—where I spent my childhood designing websites with my father and discovering the endless possibilities of the internet. That early curiosity for systems and storytelling evolved into a lifelong pursuit of design that connects craft, culture, and technology.
After earning my degree in Graphic Design in Maceió and specializing in Art Direction at Miami Ad School São Paulo, my career took me through boutique studios and global agencies such as F/Nazca Saatchi & Saatchi, AlmapBBDO, FCB, and Accenture Interactive, before joining Publicis Toronto. Across every chapter, my focus has remained the same: to use design not just as decoration, but as direction—to help brands express purpose and lead cultural change.
My work has been recognized by Cannes Lions, D&AD, Clio, The One Show, and the London International Awards, and featured by The Guardian, Fast Company, The Times, Adweek, and Mashable—proof that ideas born in small places can move the world.
Today, I continue to lead with curiosity, collaboration, and conviction. I believe design leadership is about creating systems that empower others to create—transforming not only how brands look, but how they think.
